This August we had an amazing one week camp turned into a real art museum, that our student creatively called "The Laddle Was Here". The camp focus was on selecting a few paintings and trying to understand how each of them came to be.
Theatrics were at its peak! The paintings came to life before the parents' eyes!
A wide variety of painters from Van Gogh to Serebriakova to Reshetnikov were introduced to the students and replicas of their masterpieces made by our students were displayed at the camp museum.
However despite the state of the art security and alarm system some of the pictures were stolen, just a day before the exhibition opening! No fear though, the thief was caught on our security camera and we even managed to have a communication line with them. Though the thief was never caught, all the paintings were recovered and, thankfully, displayed in time of the parents' arrival at the museum.
